Great weekend at Delco. Only gave up one goal and didn't lose one game. Unfortunately, the one win and two ties were not enough to get to the semi's. Very good showing with only 12 players!MVP of the weekend...Katie Hayes. Fantastic job!

Wow!!! Way behind in my updates. Quick recap. Started off maps season with one loss and two ties. Region1 we fared better with a 2-0 start. Pda tournament was disappointing with a 0-1-1 record. Not enough to move on. Let's hope for speedy recovery to our two injured "strikers" Allie and April. We miss having you both on the fields.

It was the best of times and the worst of times. While I think we all enjoyed the weekend in Connecticut with a 3-0 victory and a 1-0 defeat I think we also didn't enjoy seeing Carolyn in such pain. She's doing fine though and believe it or not can't wait to play indoor. True competitor. We wish her a speedy recovery...you will be missed.

The Strikers advanced to the State Cup semi finals with a 1-0 victory over the Pasco Stallions. Defensive player of the game.......Jen Nelson.....offensive player of the game.....Jen Nelson....player of the day......you guessed it.....Jen Nelson!!!!!!!!!

Great Weekend! The Strikers defeated the always tough GAK Jersey Girls 2-0 to advance to the Quarter Finals of the State Cup(third year in a row!). Congrats to April and Carolyn for notching the "strikes". The Strikers lost a well played game 1-0 to the Beadling Blast on that same day. Up next...Pasco Stallions(a.k.a. Kearney Thistle) @ Fort Dix.

Nice showing at Wags!!! The Strikers went 1-1-1 over the weekend. Not enough to move on to the semi's but we outplayed all the teams this weekend. Need to finish better. Next up ...Gak in the state cup!

Great job girls on your 2-1 win over Rockville Centre. One word comes to mind from yesterday......NAOMI!!! Two goals great job. On a sadder note please convey your condolences to the Mc Donnell and Lawrence families for the loss of their good friend Paddy O'Neil. For those of you who don't remember him he was the trainer for Toms River United taking them to be State Cup Champs at u-11. He will be sorely missed by many. Our prayers go out to his wife and seven children.

Not great but a good weekend! Walked away with 2 victories over East Meadow and South Central. New formation is starting to look better. Nice goals by Katie(white shoes) H.,Allie, Patty(2) and Kelsey(been waiting a lomg time)B. Rest those injuries Cara and Hopey Jr. Awesome job by the defense in both games.

With the East Brunswick Tournament and two scrimmages this past weekend as a tune up the Strikers are ready to start the season this weekend in Mt Laurel. First up is the East Meadow Dynamite from Long Island followed by the Connecticut State Champs South Central. Rest up girls...both games will be extremely tough.

Sorry it took so long! After a slow start in the Fc Delco tournament the Strikers advanced to the finals with a 1-0 victory over Smithtown FC. Finals of course were cancelled due to weather. End results....co champs!

Great weekend! The Strikers defeated GAK on Saturday 4-1. Congrats to Patty(2), April and Hope for notching the strikes. Sunday, the Strikers tied Souderton 2-2 in a well played game. Goals provided by Patty and Kristen Y. The passing and movement this weekend was the best I've seen so far. Keep up the good work girls. Cara finally made her return this weekend..welcome back. I would like to thank Michele T. for playing with us and doing a fantastic job. We now wish you a speedy recovery for your injury. Up next...Delco.

The Tale of Two Halves...After a tremendous first half the Strikers led the Man SS 3-0. Nice goals by Patty, Hope, Double D. The second half was all Manalapan and it resulted in a 3-3 tie. We need to be more consistent. On a brighter note it looks like Cara will be able to play sooner than expected . We hope to see her return in 1-2 weeks. It looked like we were going to give Michele an easy first game on Sunday after the 1st half...sorry Michele we thru you in the fire in the 2nd half.

Welcome to our newest Striker, Michelle T., who will be our goalie for the remainder of the season. She will be a great addition to the team and we thank her for helping us out in our time of need. All I can say is....very proud! We went out to Conn. with only 12 players and no goalie. We came back with 1 tie,1 loss(3-2 Yankee) 8 healthy players,4 injured players and a ton of pride! Great job girls! Thank you Kristen D. for filling in as our keeper. Never complained and always smiling. Nice goals by Katie H, Patty and April. Rest those injuries we have a lot of season left.

Nice finish in the last two games of the PDA tournament. Sunday's game was a well earned victory over the NY State Cup Champs . Congrats to Katie H. and Kristin D. for the "strikes". Most proud of the team in 2-1 loss to Conn. State cup Champs, Yankee United. With only twelve players you girls played with all heart and emotion . Congrats again to Kati H for the lone "strike".

Well,I missed my first game ever this week and I'm glad I wasn't there for that one. From viewing the tape of the game(thank you Mrs. Yau)it appears we have alot of work to do in a short period of time. I'll end on a positive..great job to the last line of defense... Kari,Renee,Jen N and Cara.

The Strikers had a tough go of it in the Wall Fall Classic U14 Bracket. Loss two close games 2-1 and won 3-0. The Strikers , with the help of three guest players took second place in the Howell Holiday u14 bracket. Thanks to Jen P., Rachel B(from Man SS) and Anna D. (princeton) for helping us out on such short notice.

I updated the website this morning to include the above banner for the missing blue jacket, I hope that we find it. When I reviewed this page, I saw the top sentence of "Great Weekend", and felt that I should make that statement appear further down the list. . . .In remembrance of the Wall Fall Classic, all music will be removed from the website for a period of seven days. Great weekend! The Strikers started the weekend with a 2-1 victory over MLU. Congrats to Hope(aka Hopey Junior) and Patty for notching the strikes. Approx. 1/2 hour later played the State Cup champs to a 1-0 loss. Passing in that game was some of the best I've seen out of the Strikers. You should be very proud of yourselves girls.

It was a great run! For the second year in a row the Strikers lost in the quarter finals of the State Cup. In a well played game , PDA came out on top 2-0. Nothing to be ashamed of we lost to a very talented team. Good job Strikers. Very proud!!!

My oh my what a wonderful day!!!! Thank you Strikers for providing me with the most exciting game I've ever been involved with either as a player and coach. Biggest comeback with a total team effort. Defense...we bent but did not break!!! Congrats to Patty for putting on the board first. Katie Hayes ..what can I say...MVP for the day! Kari B. notches the game winner...OH BABY!!!!! Final score 4-3 over GAK. Sunday followed with a 4-1 victory over a tough tbaa. Congrats "T" (2), Patty and carolyn for the goals.

Great Weekend! Impressive 6-0 victory over the Cranford Cosmos in the second round of State Cup. Congrats to Jenny(2), Patty, April,Kristen Y and Cara for notching the strikes. On Sunday a well played game resulted in a 0-0 tie to the always tough Kearny Thistle. Awesome job by the defense once again. They've only given up one goal in the last seven games and that was an undeserved penalty shot. See ya Wags!!!!

Looks like we're becoming a second half team. After another slow start the Strikers came on strong in the second half to beat the Hibo Heat 4-0 in the first round of State Cup. Congrats to Kristen Y(awesome shot), April (2) and Patty for notching the strikes. Great job by one of the best defenses in the state...Renee, Kelsey,Katie H., Kari Jen N and Cara. Up next is the Cranford Cosmos at home.

Congrats to Kristen Y. for notching the lone strike this week to beat the Centennial Connexion 1-0. A fine job by the defense for not allowing any quality shots against our keeper. With Renee out due to sickness, the always reliable Katie H. stepped up and did a fabulous job. First round of State Cup starts this week against Hibo Heat. Let's hope Renee and Danielle are back to full speed.
